Intoduction Tony introduces today's line up ~ one which turns our concerns to others.

News With Kevin Elston and Mary Jane Peters. Our favorite headline here in the Historic District deals with the new train horn ordinance. Finally ~ and end to it!!!
Cathi Black ,the newest member of our team, wets her feet in the world of Art. Cathi will be bringing us monthly reports from the Flagstaff art scene. Often the art she introduces us to is off the beaten First Friday path. This week: a tattoo parlor and then a local his day job.

Elizabeth Savage of the ThinkJesusProject is our in studio guest today. The project feeds the homeless in Bushmaster Park every Sunday ~ they invite burger flippers and cole slaw tossers to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand. This coming lunch will be their 100th consecutive week of feeding the needy.
We have another piece on Flagstaff Shelter Services - a new shelter for the homeless here in town which opened its doors in the middle of the cold this last winter. They need your support as well.
We also offer a short on an organization here in town few are aware of - the Kondwa Childrens Foundation . They are a local Arizona based project which concerns itself with AIDS orphans in Lusaka Zambia, a country where "half of all Zambian children under 15 have lost one parent" to this plague. If you can help with donations. blankets or hygeine items, contact them through their website

Weather Action Jackson is at it again.
Erin Stalnaker Union organizer and labor activist talks with Tony about labor, unions and an interesting Arizona History moment which concerns the Wobblies.
